*UPDATED* BC Children's Hospital's Annual Miracle Weekend Telethon

On the weekend of June 6 & 7th my family and I joined the BC Children's Hospital's Annual Miracle Weekend Telethon fundraiser in Vancouver. This is an enormous event and I believe more than 15 million was raised for BC kids. This event was geared towards families and their children with balloon making clowns, play tents, and food galore. We enjoyed our day that culminated in me being interviewed on live television! Due to our recent pledge of $100,000 over ten years we were asked to participate in the Miracle weekend with a 30 second spot on television.
We had a big cheque in the amount of $10,000, representing the first payment of our pledge. I managed to talk about our Northern roots and promote All-West Glass. Hopefully in future years, with our increased funding efforts throughout the company, we will be able to provide even larger cheques each year to both the BC Children’s Hospital and the Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation.
