Windows and Doors Removal of existing windows/doors/glass – Installation of kick plate, peep hole and new or existing (in good condition) lock hardware in pre-bored door (excludes mortise type hardware) – Replacement of existing or installation of new trim (new trim supplied by customer) – Caulking or insulating as required – Test to ensure proper operation – Final clean up of job site, including removal of old materials.
Automatic Doors/Garage Doors
Installation includes: – Removal of existing doors – Installation of new doors to existing structure – Installation of weather stripping – Reinforcement and reconnection of existing garage door operator – Test to ensure proper operation – Final clean up of job site, including removal of old materials.
We recommend that you take certain steps to prepare your home for an installation:
- Please move furniture away from the windows being changed, as well as covering sensitive electronic equipment and antiques with a tarp or cloth. Some dust is inevitable in a renovation situation.
- Remove existing drapes and blinds. If this is troublesome for you, our installers could assist you with this upon (prearranged) request.
- Take down pictures and other hanging items around the work space.
- Please keep children and pets at a safe distance for safety reasons.
Due to WCB and company safety regulations our installers may have to wear their safety boots in your home. When this is required, your flooring will be protected.
