WINDOW STYLES

BAY WINDOWS
project outward from the wall, creating either a square or polygonal bay in the room. Common angles used in these windows are 90, 135 and 150.
CASEMENT WINDOWS
are attached to their frames at the side by one or more hinges. They are used singly or in pairs within a common frame.
AWNING AND HOPPER WINDOWS:
Awning windows are casement windows hung horizontally from the top so that it swings outward like an awning. Hopper windows are hung horizontally from the bottom and typically open outward.
SINGLE- AND DOUBLE-HUNG WINDOWS:
Single-hung windows have one moveable and one fixed sash (usually the bottom sash is moveable), while double-hung windows feature two moveable sashes. Spring balances and chains support and move the sashes.
HORIZONTAL SLIDER WINDOWS
have two or more sashes that overlap slightly and slide horizontally within their frames.
CUSTOM ARCHITECTURAL SHAPES
are available for those individuals seeking a truly unique style. Combine traditional windows with special shapes, including half-round windows, quarter-rounds, octagons, trapezoids, triangles, pentagons, arch tops and more! Bevelled glass and etching may also be used to finalize the look.
BOW WINDOWS
are curved bay windows, typically combining 4 or more casement windows in the shape of an arch.
